It features integral thermal guards against misuse of insulation materials and improper lamping. The pre installed heavy gauge bar hangers allow extra stability and positioning at any point up to 24 inches, repositioning 90 degrees on a plaster frame without tools. Housing adjusts to accommodate ceiling thickness, 7.5 inch height allows use in 2 inch by 8 inch joist construction. Allows for damp locations, listed for direct contact with insulation.
